If you’re  need a little inspiration . . . if you haven’t noticed, Hollywood has a big diversity problem. The problem: their isn’t enough diversity in the industry. Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar winner, wants to change that. She spoke to Vogue about how she plans to do it and shares all about her new movie, Queen of Katwe.

If you love little known history . . . It’s fairly well known that Jefferson had a white daughter and a daughter that was 1/8th black and therefore born into slavery. But it isn’t well known what happened to them. The Daily Beast investigated the very different fates of these famous half-sisters.

If you’re a fitness fanatic . . . but you might find it hard to get your butt to that spin class, that’s totally normal according to a Harvard professor. We’re finally getting a pass. Turns out, it’s in our DNA. Read this from the Washington Post.

If you love fashion . . . I love Kate Middleton. Such grace . . . such poise. So you can imagine how much I’m loving her sartorial choices for her recent trip to Canada. Check out Vogue’s coverage of the royal family’s travels.

Final thoughts:

Monday Mantra: “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” – Nelson Mandela

Song of the Week: Vienna” by Billy Joel . . . such a classic.

What I’m Reading: Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald by Therese Ann Fowler

What I’m Craving: Pumpkin French Toast Muffins . . . I hate it when summer ends but eventually I do accept it. And these are the perfect treats to eat on a cool, crisp autumn night in New England.

What I’m Binging On: Grace and Frankie . . . again, so good!
