Last week was a tough week. Not only did I start a new job (yay!) but I also lost my Aunt.
She was such a fine lady. I always called her my own Katharine Hepburn for her love of sharp pantsuits. But she was like KB in so many other ways. She had pluck and she had class. But above all else, she valued family.
It’s when we lose those close to us that we evaluate how we are living life. And as much as we want the big house, the big career, the fancy cars and clothes … what it all comes down to is love.
So on this Monday, my motivation is to love purely and simply. If I can do that, just like my Aunt Pat did (and another fine lady, Jean, who we also lost this week) then I will have lived a good life.
